How we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

1. Who we are
iDavos (“we”, “us”) is an independent accommodation and concierge service for the Davos Annual Meeting. We are not affiliated with the World Economic Forum. For any privacy-related questions, contact us at info@idavos.com.
2. Data we collect
- Contact form: your name, email address or phone number, and the content of your message, used solely to respond to your enquiry.
- Newsletter: your email address, used to send occasional updates and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- Booking enquiries: details you share with us over email, WhatsApp, or Telegram to arrange accommodation or concierge services.
- Usage data: aggregated, cookieless analytics about page visits and site performance (see Section 4).
3. How we use your data
We use your data to respond to enquiries, arrange accommodation and concierge services you request, send newsletters you have subscribed to, and improve our website. We do not sell your personal data.
4. Cookies and analytics
We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights in cookieless mode: they collect aggregated, anonymised usage data and do not set tracking cookies or identify individual visitors. Your cookie consent preferences are stored locally in your browser. You can change them at any time via the cookie banner.
5. Third-party service providers
We share data with service providers only as needed to operate the site:
- Vercel — website hosting, image storage, and cookieless analytics.
- EmailJS — delivery of contact form and newsletter submissions to our inbox.
- Mapbox — interactive maps on listing pages; your IP address is processed when map tiles load.
- WhatsApp / Telegram — if you choose to contact us there, their own privacy policies apply.
6. Data retention
We keep enquiry and booking correspondence for as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal obligations, then delete it. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.
7. Your rights
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise any of these rights, email info@idavos.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
8. Data security
All traffic to our website is encrypted via HTTPS, and access to enquiry data is limited to the iDavos team. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the date of the last revision shown above.
