For one week each January, the hotel suites of Davos become some of the most sought-after rooms in the Alps. The town's supply of true luxury suites is small and fixed, and the demand during the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting is overwhelming — heads of state, chief executives, and their delegations all competing for the same handful of flagship rooms. This guide covers the marquee suites: what each hotel offers, how large the top suite is, and how to reach the reservations desk directly.
The top hotel suites in Davos
The table below lists the flagship suite at each of Davos's leading hotels, grouped by category. "Official" suites carry a Royal or Presidential designation from the hotel; "Presidential Equivalent" are the flagship executive suites that serve the same role. The last two columns give an indicative price tier and our shorthand for what each hotel does best.

The suites, by tier
Official Royal — Hotel Flüela
Hotel Flüela, part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, holds the largest suite in Davos: the Royal Suite at a full 400 sqm. It is the town's top-tier room, and demand for it during the forum is essentially uncapped. The Flüela also offers three Presidential Suites between 131 and 200 sqm, giving it the deepest bench of high-end inventory of any single Davos hotel.
Official Presidential
Beyond the Flüela, only two other hotels carry a branded Presidential-class suite:
- AlpenGold Hotel — the Presidential Suite at 160 sqm, the largest single Presidential suite after the Flüela's.
- Turmhotel Victoria — the President Suite at 80 sqm, a more intimate flagship in a classic Davos property.

Presidential Equivalent
Several leading hotels offer a flagship executive suite that fills the same role for senior delegates, typically in the 69–100 sqm range:
- Steigenberger Icon Belvédère — the Belvédère Suite, 95 sqm, in Davos's landmark grand hotel.
- Hard Rock Hotel Davos — the Rock Star Suite, 100 sqm, the largest of the Presidential-equivalents.
- Hotel Seehof Davos — the Executive Suite, 85 sqm, in a long-established Davos grand hotel.
- AMERON Davos Resort — the Smart Premium Suite, 82 sqm, in a resort known for its spa.
- Waldhotel Davos — the Thomas Mann Suite, 69 sqm, a named corner suite in the wooded retreat that inspired The Magic Mountain.
Spas and wellness
Part of what a hotel suite buys during a demanding forum week is somewhere to decompress. Most of Davos's leading hotels pair their top suites with a full spa — indoor pools, saunas, and treatment rooms — and for many delegates an early swim or a late massage is the one reliably quiet hour of the day. Booking a Davos hotel suite for the WEF
Two things make these suites hard to secure. First, the supply is tiny — a handful of rooms across the whole town — and it does not grow to meet forum demand. Second, the largest suites are often held year to year by returning delegations, so genuine availability can be thin even far ahead of January. Expect multi-night minimum stays and to move quickly once a suite is offered. If a flagship suite is central to your plans, enquire as early as you can, and confirm in writing.
When a hotel suite isn't the right fit
A hotel suite is the right choice for some delegations. For others — particularly larger teams, or anyone who needs to host private meetings and dinners away from a busy hotel — a whole private apartment or chalet is the better base. The advantages are consistent: more usable space, several bedrooms and bathrooms, private living and meeting areas, a full kitchen for a private chef, and complete exclusivity of the property.
